This is our breathtaking beautiful country.
One step closer to New York! been sharing this dream with quite a few people already
before new year’s day ends i would like to make an official first day of the year post.
I got to spend new year in a different way this year. Special would be the perfect word to describe it. Here’s a list of reasons why…
- No family but friends.
- Fireworks along the Schelde of Antwerp and pretending that we were in New York picture :))
- Drove through the city streets (we were all over the place haha)
- We were probably one of the few who did not drink alcohol that night. ahem! cheers to kiddie champagne! (good stuff) :D
- got to love sleepovers!
Xx
- Chill night

A photo of Venetian sunset-
Because I have been writing about my 2011 summer trip until today
Because I suddenly remember the song L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N.
Because I’d like to think that a new year is best described with a picture of a sunset

Hoping that you all would have a happy welcoming of 2012! I surely am looking forward to it. The years just keep getting better and better.
Thank you, 2011, you’re one year I will never forget!
2011 will not be forgotten.
It’s Christmas! but I’m not feeling it. As a kid I’ve always anticipated this one day of the year but now a friend’s mom made me realize that yeah..truth is were no longer kids. Everyone’s getting older and were all in an awkward phase of life. It’s as if we’re not sure of..things a LOT of things.
It will be my first time celebrating Christmas here in Belgium without my Family. It’s quite sad cause I’ve always spent it with them, but then again there’s always a positive side in everything. I just wanna make one thing clear…..
I MISS HOME <3
some cultural things I’ve experienced so far here in Belgium..
Kerstmarkt (=Christmas bazaar) is very popular in most European countries. My friends and I went there yesterday after our day trip to Germany.
Music for life. it’s a campaign against diarrhea. A famous radio station organized this fundraiser in order to help kids with diarrhea. basically it’s a one week event wherein they move from one city to another and play music all day long. We only passed by yesterday but it seemed fun. will go back tomorrow if i can :-)
Terrible winter winds here in Belgium. I normally love rainy weather just not here.
